Denver International Airport is one of the few major airports not yet filmed by Just Planes however our crew finally made it to DIA for a week of filming. The airport is not the easiest one to film because of the distances from the runways, it is after all the largest airport in the Americas by land area (close to 34,000 acres) and second largest in the world! The airport also has the longest runway for public use in North America at 16,000 feet (Runway 16R/34L).
The major airlines at DIA are United, Frontier and Southwest and you'll see plenty of those including many of the animal tail liveries of Frontier. Besides the US airlines that visit Denver you will also see British Airways, Copa, Edelweiss Air, Icelandair, Lufthansa, Wamos, and freighter airlines like FedEx, UPS and Prime Air.
