Jersey European was formed in 1979 and introduced its first jet, the BAe146 in 1993 on routes from London to Belfast City and the Channel Islands. JE won several awards including "Best UK Regional Airline". In 1999 the airline purchased the CRJ and Dash 8 and changed its name to British European.
This program features the 4 types in operations at the moment and takes us on 17 flights to 7 destinations in the UK as well as on routes to Belgium, Ireland, Italy and Switzerland. The airline's Director of Flight Operations takes us on an in-depth tour of the facilities including reservations, operations and maintenance.
