KLM Exel operated regional services for KLM from Amsterdam and regional airports in the Netherlands to domestic and European destinations. The airline started operations in May 1991 and ceased service in November 2004. During this time the airline operated 2 types of aircraft and 2 models of each type. The ATR 42 and 72 as well as the Embraer 120 and 145.
Just Planes was lucky to visit KLM Exel in 1999, feature all 4 types of aircraft and include a number of destinations and routes not so common in our series!
