Air Calin started operations in 1983. Service to Sydney was inaugurated in 1986, Auckland in 1987. The airline's first Boeing 737-300 was delivered in 1989 and the first widebody aircraft, an Airbus A310-300, arrived on March 26th 2000 allowing Air Calin to introduce its first long haul service to Japan. Soon the long haul fleet will be modernized with the arrival of 2 Airbus A330-200s.

This video gives you a good overview of the airline's fleet (Airbus A310-300 & Boeing 737-300), network (Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Vanuatu & Wallis Futuna) and excellent service. This is a spectacular area of the world for flying and the various approaches will give you a good idea of what to expect.

I purchased this DVD mainly for the B737-300. I'm not too crazy about Airbus, due to the fact that most of their aircrafts have side-sticks (with the exception of the A310). I'm a yoke guy, so that's another reason why I decided to go ahead and purchase this program. 5 stars for this one! ★★★★★ 😄
